information technology pros, and the cleaning and security workers.
3 : Focus on listening
Listen closely to your boss’s requests but also listen to your
colleagues and subordinates.
If an email doesn’t convey the subtlety of what you’re trying
to communicate, pick up the phone or schedule an in-person meeting.
5: Be prepared.
Do plenty of research in advance of any meeting or negotiation.
